  • One thing i did while i was pregnant was peed on my hand, here in the uk we get giving a little pot to pee into before every appointment, the pot must be about 1cm wide, so when it came it second midwife appointment i tried peeing into the pot and instead of it going in the pot it went on my hand. needless to say i didn't do it like that again. - littlesteph

  • The daft things I suppose would be lying with legs in air after dtd - very unsightly I'm sure!Pretending NOT to observe every detail during my cycle whilst secretly obsessing over them all, I guess I like to drive myself nuts and I'm sure I'm not alone there. I also tell myself I'm not going to test early either but my poas addiction always gets the better of me. If OH new the real number of tests I get through he would definitely think I was mad -  weebubba

  • Every time I had a sign or symptom I looked on the internet to see if it was pregnancy related. Then I convinced myself that I was pregnant when I had so many symptoms during the TWW.
Lesson learned- Early pregnancy and pre-AF symptoms are very similar. Almost every 'early pregnancy symptom' that you have during the TWW, you can also have before AF arrives. - Jelly.Bean

  • When i was pregnant with my little boy i was making my husband a coffee and instead of putting the milk back in the fridge i went to put the coffee jar in fridge, luckly he stopped me before i had actaully done it. - littlesteph

  •  We haven't had a baby yet and are just waiting to try. Sorry I haven't done anything too crazy yet unless I course you count looking at baby clothes, maternity clothes and baby equipment on eBay plus I have my someday in the future private wish list on amazon where I put pretty baby things I find. Not to mention my secret pregnancy board on Pinterest where I put anything from articles about getting pregnant to disciplining young children....
Maybe I'm a little bit crazy!! Plus I have a baby name app to look up names I like and I'm obsessed with reading funny stories about pregnancy brain. I just like to call it being prepared. - Baby and Bump member

  • - sometimes I stand in front of a mirror and stick my tummy out to see what I might look like when pregnant. We aren't trying for five months!
    - I made a baby name list, including color coding for rankings on popularity charts, and listing their meanings
    - I've already bought a toddler fairy costume that was precious, a birthing/exercise ball for pregnancy and birth, and I have made a quilt, and crocheted a little baby hat -  Baby and Bump member
  • The funniest thing I've done is buy a sewing machine and tried to teach myself to sew. That was pretty crazy as I am not a crafty or artsy person. I failed sewing in home economics because at the time, I thought it was old fashioned and way too girly for me to care about it. I spent one new years eve STRESSING over a patchwork quilt that I was trying to make and eventually gave up on (in order to preserve my sanity as well as my OH's). We both look back on that new year's eve and laugh.
I've bought quite a few things already from Ebay over the past few years. I've made several wish lists of things I'd like to buy. Some of the stuff I wish listed so long ago the products are not actually available to buy anymore.
I'll happily admit that my planning is a bit out of control. I am certainly aware that my OH thinks I'm a little bit nuts. Especially seeing as before I turned 25 I didn't even know if I wanted children and he talked about having a baby waaay before I did. Then I turned 25 and BAM! I have several favourite Mommy Blogs, listed in order of preference in my bookmarks. - Baby and Bump member
  • Yesterday while watching a movie with my dh he turned to me and said " I really want a baby ruth!" I got all excited that he was wanting to have a baby, then confused about the ruth part, then realized he meant he wanted the candy bar. I guess babies are on my mind! - WhitheartsQ
